I think I see a buffet...

I am a Computer Science PhD student at the University of Washington. My work focuses on mobile systems, particularly those targeted at developing regions. I spend most of my coding time working with the web and with Android.

I am a Gates Cambridge Scholar. At Cambridge I studied neuroscience and was a member of St John’s College.

As an undergraduate I studied Philosophy, English, and Neurobiology. After graduating I traveled for a year on a Bonderman Travel Fellowship, spending eight months in South America, Australia, and Asia.

In my spare time I like to birdwatch, write fiction and work on coding projects. Take a look at the Projects page for more.

About the Site

I recently switched to Hugo to put my site together. The Allegiant and Start Bootstrap Clean Blog themes served as starting points. All the photos are mine.
